Am 28. Februar 2022 hielt der Österreichische Musikrat (ÖMR) seine jährliche Generalversammlung ab und lud zur Diskussion internationaler Perspektiven der Kulturpolitik vom Internationalen Musikrat (IMC) Silja Fischer (Generalsekretärin) und Davide Grosso (Projektmanager) ein. Aktuelle Projekte und Vorhaben im Bereich „Advocacy, Policy and Decision Making“ wurden erörtert und die Projektarbeit des IMC in Afrika vorgestellt, wobei stets die „5 Music Rights“ des IMC als Kompass und Leitlinie dienten.

SHIFT Culture: “Climate change, gender equality and inclusion of minorities are key challenges for our rapidly changing world. Arts and culture have a recognised role in shaping societies and have the potential to significantly contribute to a better and more sustainable future for all as recognised in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project SHIFT will provide training initiatives for cultural leaders, working together and creating paths to face such global challenges.”
